A dental 3-way syringe, also known as an air-water syringe, is a handheld instrument used by dentists during dental procedures.
It delivers a precise stream of air, water, or a combination of both to clean the teeth, remove debris, and evacuate irrigating solutions.
FEATURES:
Syringe body: This houses the internal mechanisms that control the air, water, and spray functions.
Nozzle: This is the tip of the syringe where the air, water, or spray exits. Nozzles can be interchangeable/ and can attach disposable tips.
Trigger: The dentist squeezes the trigger to activate the desired function (air, water, or spray).
Coupling: This connects the syringe to the dental unit’s water and air lines.
